KPITB Jobs KPK Information Technology Board 2024. The KPITB (KPIT Board) is the highest statutory body in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the development, planning, monitoring and evaluation of provincial policies for the IT sector with a special focus on developing a sustainable IT ecosystem. The KPIT Board is responsible for recommending broad policy directions and strategic priorities to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which would ensure an enabling environment for the ICT industry.

The KPK Information Technology Board (ITB) is a body of people, who in the beginning were elected by the professional associations of engineers, to help formulate and improve the informatization and communication in the fields of information technology. It aims to promote the development of the field and is financed by the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The KPK Information Technology Board (ITB) is an organization of professional engineers and is headed by the chief engineer. It is a specialized body, which includes the technical managers of the engineering departments, and the management of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the company.

Eligibility Conditions

Applicants for a job at KPITB must meet the following criteria: 

They should have a bachelor’s degree in either computer engineering, computer science, information technology or related fields.  They should have at least 3 years of work experience in the IT industry or government service. 

The applicants should not be more than 35 years old (as of December 31, 2024).

 They should also pass KPITB’s Selection Test and Interview. The selection test comprises a written test and an interview which is conducted by board members and experts in various aspects of IT services. The applicant’s spouse or partner cannot hold another position in any public sector organization.

KPITB also reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason whatsoever. Applications are valid only until 31st December 2020 or until vacancies are filled whichever is earlier.

Qualification and Experience

The jobs on offer through the KPITB are diverse and cover a wide range of areas. The qualifications required to be considered for any position will depend on the role and area of IT that is being recruited for. However, all applicants should have an IT degree or equivalent experience.

 All applicants need to be Pakistani nationals and must have been living in Pakistan for the past five years. They must also have no criminal record, be a resident of Karachi or Islamabad, and not be affiliated with any political party or religious organization.
