The aim of this project is to establish a safe city in Lahore and Karachi. The goal is to use biometric technology, surveillance cameras, and other means to make these cities safer for citizens.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Punjab Safe City Authority is looking to hire qualified people in a range of fields. The good news is that they have an open and inclusive recruitment policy, so anyone who’s qualified can apply.
- Participants should ideally be between the ages of 22 and 40
- They should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification from any university, with an aggregate of a minimum of 60% marks in all subjects.
- Candidates must also show proficiency in English by scoring 600/800 on IELTS.
- If you don’t know your English level yet, you’ll need to take the TOEFL exam or take both tests separately at the same time.
- Those who don’t fulfill these requirements will not be able to work as civil servants and this post might not be right for them!
- They should have served five years of service with proof after completion of their basic military service.
- An exception is made if they were injured during military service rendering them unfit for active duty before completing five years of service.
Educational Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 55% marks. They must be computer literate and have knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software. They will also need to know how to use various computer hardware such as monitors, keyboards, scanners, and printers.
It is preferable if they have some experience working with design software such as AutoCAD or Google SketchUp. The successful candidate will also need to pass the Punjab Public Service Commission examination (PSC) conducted by the Government of Punjab before joining duty.
The Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) is responsible for the implementation of the Punjab Safe Cities Programme (PSCP). The objective of this program is to use technology for better policing in the province of Punjab, Pakistan.
